Junior Volunteers

Application deadline is May 11, 2025

Each summer St. Mary's invites community youth between the ages of 14 and 17 to participate in our Junior Volunteer program. These volunteers assist with patient transport and numerous projects during the summer. It is a great opportunity for teens to get involved in the community and learn about health care.

Consider joining the St. Mary's team of volunteers who have a positive impact on delivering quality patient care every day. By committing just one day a week this summer you can have a huge impact on the community and the St. Mary's patient experience.

Our 2025 Summer Program begins June 17th.

Adult Volunteers

Adult volunteers play a vital role in helping St. Mary's Hospital provide compassionate, high-quality care to our patients and visitors.
From greeting guests to supporting clinical and administrative departments, our adult volunteers bring warmth, reliability, and a strong sense of community to the hospital environment.

We ask that adult volunteers commit to at least one 4-hour shift per week, typically from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

This consistent support allows our staff to focus on patient care while volunteers enhance the experience of everyone who walks through our doors.

College/University Volunteers

Our College and University Volunteer Program is a flexible and enriching opportunity for students to engage with the healthcare environment while giving back to the community.

We ask student volunteers to commit to a consistent weekly shift, but unlike the fixed 4-hour blocks in our adult program, student shift times are based on individual availability and can vary in length.

We understand that academic schedules change, so we work with students to adjust their shifts each semester and during school breaks.

Whether you're pursuing a career in healthcare or simply seeking meaningful service experience, volunteering at St. Mary¿s offers valuable learning and personal growth.
